To me, being a great photographer doesn't start and end with me. I enjoy getting to know who I am photographing and creating a relationship because when I start to fully understand the nuances, quirks, and qualities that make your love unique, it allows to me to translate that into meaningful photographs, not just pretty pictures.
I give couples like you – not just a gallery of beautiful photos – but an experience you’ll always remember.
My passion for photography seeded itself when my two older sisters gifted me a digital camera for my 18th birthday. Decades later, I’m still happiest with a camera in my hand. Though the equipment has had a few upgrades since then, my mantra remains the same: encourage my subjects to be themselves, and the magic will follow.
Outside of wedding photography, I also have a very consuming, full- time career as a dog Mom to Belle (our 9yr old Border Collie mix) and Hazy (our 2yr old Olde English Bulldogge) and nursing a particularly intense love of houseplants. When not working my husband and I love to travel in our RV with the pups, mountain bike, hike, and explore new breweries and wineries.

I think love is a really important part of being a wedding photographer. I think whoever you engage to capture your special day should love what they do and do what they love. And that’s me: presenting couples with a gallery of wedding photos that reduce them to tears of joy is an absolute passion of mine. During your wedding day (and on the run-up), I want you to feel like you’re in the best possible hands. Like you don’t need to give a moment’s worry or thought to the photography because you’re confident that I’ve got it all under control.
Reminding you every step of the way that your love story is as beautiful as anybody else’s.
(can't help feeling he should be higher on the list?)
